7000 BC is a Northern New Mexico-based organization providing opportunities for comics writers and artists to develop their personal styles and storytelling "voices," while promoting an understanding of the cultural significance of comic art through seminars and workshops.

Pending our non-profit status, we are umbrellaed by Sol Arts Gallery and Performance Space in Albuquerque.

SPACE 2006

7000 BC will have tables 122 and 123 at the 2006 Small Press and Alternative Comics Expo (SPACE). We'll have everyone's cool books, and maybe some Hospital Stories T-shirts for sale... Hope to see you there!

Next 7000 BC meeting

Our next meeting will be at 7:30 pm, Sunday, May 7, 2006 at the Satellite Coffee on Central in Albuquerque.

Directions
Note: this is not the original on Nob Hill, but the new one across from UNM.
Take I-25 to Albuquerque, get off on the Central exit, and head east, towards the mountains. Satellite will be on your right, one block past Yale (a light), 2300 Central SE, corner of Central and Harvard. If you hit the Frontier, you've gone a block too far. Parking all around, meters are free on Sunday.
